Donald Trump was convicted on all 34 counts, but questions about the sentencing and the election remain.
In some respects, the jury finding Donald Trump guilty on all 34 counts is not a surprise. Anybody who has been following the news closely, even before this trial started, could see that Trump was most likely guilty. Moreover, once the trial itself started we saw, once again, that Donald Trump was unable to muster a decent defense. This is in part because Trump was so clearly guilty, but it is also because he could not put a strong legal team together, not least because Trump lacked sufficient discipline or ability to work with his attorneys to make his case stronger.
