Riffin' on "Knishin' in the Mission"

This song may be meant to be funny, but it tells us quite a bit about San Francisco.

Recently, while I was putting together a syllabus for a course I am teaching next year about the politics of San Francisco, I found myself listening to “Knishin’ in the Mission,” the 2019 song from the Hip Hop Hoodios and the Hip Spanic Allstars.
