Biden, Gaza and the Arab American Vote
Arab American voters face an agonizing choice in the 2024 election.
With about nine months before the election President Biden has more wind at his electoral back than might be first assumed. The abject, and appropriate, fear many have of a second Trump presidency, the reality of Biden’s age, a tendency of many on the left to proclaim Trump’s victory as somehow inevitable and the possibility of third-party candidates creating problems for the President overshadow some basic truths about this election. For example, although the polls are mixed with Biden leading in some and trailing in others, the incumbent can point to a very strong economy and is running against an extraordinarily weak opponent.
